LIBRARY AUTOMATION

Undertake library automation work.Install automation software, create database of information sources, provide barcodes and spine label. Also train library staff on the computerized management of library. Already Organised two university libraries and two special libraries.

PROVIDE CONSULTANCY

Consultancy service is provided to modernize libraries. This work involves preparation of detailed plan for the modernization of the library with details related to improved organization of the collection improving the libraries infrastructure like furniture and IT equipement. Already atleast 30 libraries have been developed on the basis of the perspective development plans I have prepared. In some libraries have personally supervised the modernization work.

GIVING LECTURES

I have been proving lectures on modern topics like IT application in libraries, internet search strategies, Web 2.0 services management of deep web and online searches. At present I am working as a guest faculity of the University of Kerala's Department of Library and Information Science.
